This was a hard one for me. We live in a very sunny place and usually can go outside year long. We did go to our "cabin" for the President's Day weekend. These pictures were taken from the car on the way down the mountain.
Those are beautiful, Kim. We've had relatively warm weather here, too, in Chicagoland, but still brown and blah all winter. Plus--I woke up to a winter wonderland this morning! It was a shock to see snow. :)
Hi Kim! I'm not so crazy about snow at the moment. Last night I went to dinner and a movie with a friend and walking from the car was ice cold. Tulips, I want tulips! I can't wait to see the dirt again! Your ski trip looks super fun though!
You're after my own heart! I have a thing for blue. I love blue mornings. I'm not sure what causes them, but they seem to occur when it's cold out. There's just something magical about it.
Can you believe I never to a single snow photo this winter? Only ones of the kids playing, but no nature ones. We really never had enough snow to make it worth a nature walk.
That hillside is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love that snow piled on the branches!
ReplyDeleteI love the first one - so pretty with all the snow!
ReplyDeleteNow that is some fun Cabin Fever...Nice!!
ReplyDeleteThat's just what I would have taken if we'd been in the mountains. Not so, here in Florida. Love your first photo.

ReplyDeleteThe snow on the branches is lovely. I think living in a sunny place while being a car ride from all of this is pretty wonderful! :) Enjoy the sun!
ReplyDeleteJust lovely! We haven't gotten much snow in Maryland this year, so I'll live vicariously through these :) Thanks for popping over to my blog earlier!
ReplyDeleteAbout to look like that up here...we already have 3 inches and 3 days of snow coming!
ReplyDeleteLOVE those shots!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful snow. Really pretty pictures.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that looks cold! I'd be looking for warm beaches myself!! Pretty though, snow is always beautiful!
