I have been a little behind with the end of school activities going on around here.  It seems like life has gone super sonic fast since we got back from the beach.

These are some random pictures from different events over the last week.  On Saturday, we attended the graduation of our home school group here.  I took some pictures of the drums and flowers from that event. It was very nice but I have to say I cried... boo hoo!  It was sad to see all the pictures of the kids when they were babies and now in a blink they  are graduating.  This next week we will be attending the graduation at home and watch out tears, here I come!  Ugh! I am so emotional!

The bunny was found in our trash can. My girlie girl and boy caught it! I was screaming! Anyway, we kept it a couple of days and then realized it needed to go back to the wild.   More tears but this time from my girlie girl.

The cupcakes were yummy snacks I "purchased" for my kids after testing! I did not touch one! Victory!

And lastly, my girlie girl getting an award for AWANA! Yea! She finished her book for the year.  My boy did also but alas I did not take a picture. Ugh! Not sure why?

Btw, my girlie girl took the cupcake picture!

Kim

Happy Mother's Day

It has been 5 years since my mom passed from this life to be with her Savior.  I miss her so much.  I will never forget her sweet hands.  How she tickled my back and how she tickled my kiddos back years later.

These pictures were taken from my phone 5 years ago.  Not the greatest but they are treasures! She was sick and knew she was dying but she was so strong.  She did not weep with fear.  Her trust was with the Lord.  Oh, those days were precious.

Happy Mother's Day!
Take time to love on your mommas.  And if you are blessed to be a momma, kiss on those babies.  Life is sweet and short.

Blessings,
Kim

366-130 Plus P 52 Week 19 Still Life

project 52 p52 weekly photo challenge my3boybarians.com

This week's theme for P52 is "Still Life."  Well, we happen to be at the beach house on vacation and life has been pretty serene and still.  We don't do much except take in the beauty around us.  Sit on the beach, by the camp fire and play in the ocean.  It is easy to be still...

Psalm 46:10

He says, "Be Still and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth."

Having a great time at the beach house....

My girlie girl wanted to try surfing again.  She really has the "No Fear" and the "I can do it" attitude.  I love that about her.  Her and some of her friends tried all afternoon.  She got up a couple of times but probably needs to go further out.  These pictures are of the girls this afternoon.  Then after I decided to do a little photo shoot.

Kim

Happy Monday!

We are away at a beach house that we have rented every year for the last 7 years!  We love the tradition of it and we love the house!  Hopefully, my kids will never forget all the great times we had.  Anyway, I am a bit behind posting....because I am on the beach : )

Blessings,
Kim

This picture was taken as the sun was setting.
