Fall In Seattle

So this is long over due....
In November I went with my husband on a business trip to Seattle...
He goes there often.
It was sooo beautiful!
We went on a drive around the area where he rides his bike (weather permitting).
In Southern California we don't get much weather or Fall like stuff.
Only in the stores :)

The last picture is of a quick photo project we did for our girl who is serving over seas : (

Soccer Time

My girlie decided to play soccer this year.  She thought it would be a good cross training before her LAST season of high school softball!
How can that be?
She will be trying out for a college softball team soon.  I will keep you posted about that.
Anyway- she is a joy in everything she does.  She usually has a smile on her face... Love her so much!
Blessings,
Kim

Happy New Year! Christmas Re-Cap 2016

Happy New Year!

This year was so different for us.
My husband had surgery on December 14th for rotator cuff repair.  He had a very bad tear and never attended to it. He fell off our cabin roof about 7 years ago.  He walked around in pain and at times it got worse and other times it was bearable.
But in the last few months it became unbearable and he finally relented and went to the doctor. The doctor immediately scheduled surgery.
So because of surgery we had to stay home.
We couldn't go home for Christmas with the family or go to our normal ski trip for New Years.
It was difficult but yet it was also nice to be able to rest.
We are constantly going somewhere so it was a nice change.

The above pictures are some of the celebrations we had...
The first one is on Christmas Eve- we were invited to our son's girlfriends house.
Super sweet family and very nice evening.
The other is of our tree.  It changes light color from colored to white.  Because my husband was home, he thought it would be funny to trick me and change the lights.  I liked the white lights and he liked the colored lights. He was constantly changing them on me. It was funny.

We had a small celebration at home with some family and friends to ring in the New Year.

Happy New Year!
I hope to be around here more often this year!

Blessings,
Kim
