365-30 & 31

The last of the blue...
I almost made the entire month...

At least I get credit for trying.. : )

The last picture is of a lamp my mom gave me for my birthday.  It was the last one that she was with us....
In fact, this is heart breaking, my mom was admitted into hospice on my birthday.  She was still coherent and knew it was her last time to celebrate with me so she had my sister order this lamp off of QVC.  My sister wrapped it for her and when we all went over to help her into hospice she surprised me with the gift.  It will never be forgotten.
That is a momma's love... even till her dying day she always wants to give out to her kids.

She is in heaven for sure and I am so thankful for God's promise of eternal life in Christ Jesus!

I am trying to look for blue again... Kristal's pictures have been inspiring.

This is the end of 3 weeks of school for my daughter.  Ugh!  I am not sure what I think about it.  I sure do miss her.  She has such a bubbly personality and she is so fun to be around.  The days are very quiet in my house.  I am a social person so this is kind of getting to me.  I need something but I can't put my finger on it.

I have been having a great quiet time with my Jesus. Very consistent, which was not always the case before.
And then I decided I would try out a gym and do a little cross-fit.  Okay, those words do not go hand in hand.  A little and cross-fit does not match!  I am so sore!  I can barely move.  No fun!  Which makes all my projects around the house non existent as of now.  I can't move!  LOL!

That is my life for now.....

Have a blessed day.

365-17 & 18

I got my camera out!  Woo hoo!

The first picture is of these cool letters I purchased at Hobby Lobby.  I love that store!
I haven't decided where to hang them so for now they are sitting in my window seal.

My sweet doggie went to the groomer yesterday.  She came home with pink hair bows.  They never last but I took a picture before she managed to get them out of her hair.  She is more of a free spirit!

I am here!
I keep telling myself to get the camera out.
I really want to go to the beach and no one will go with me.  What does that say about the state of affairs at my house?  Do they not remember the 40 years in the desert??? LOL!  Okay, for them it was 16 and 12 years in the desert.  But, really, do they not remember???
I DO! and I want to go to the beach!

I might head on over by myself.

Anyway, we are trying to get our feet settled these last two weeks with changes in our girlie's school.
After 15.5 years of homeschooling, we decided to put her in a small Christian Private school.  There...
I said it.
It is out.  LOL!!!
She has expressed a desire for the last few years to play high school sports.  And, I have put her off.  and off... thinking it would go away.  But it didn't.  The last straw was when one of her coaches decided to transfer to the very school that we had toured over the summer.  So, with much prayer, we decided to take a leap of faith.
She is in!  And she loves it!  There are some adjustments.  Like her getting up at 6 a.m and being at school by 7:30.  She was not a morning person but she wants it so bad that I have not had to get her up once.  She does it all on her own.

I am enjoying some quiet but quite honestly I am like a"fish out of water".  Trying to figure this new life out.

It doesn't take much to get behind in this 365 business... LOL!

And, as you can see, I am over the blue theme... It is too difficult for me... Go Kristal!

It has been rainy in the last week but today and yesterday has been BEAUTIFUL and living up to the sunny west coast that we love.  We do need rain. So for that, we are all thankful.  And, I love the rain but the sun is good for the soul.  : )
