My God is a God of details...

Okay, I have been on one emotional roller coaster lately... up and down and all around...

I am okay with moving... I am not okay with moving..
I am going... to I am NOT going....(stomping my feet)

I really am a little nuts about it all....

So, you know how God loves every detail of our life... well, here is some more proof..AGAIN! Why, is this so amazing to me????

Cut to the story... So, my friend went to a conference in Southern California to see Sally Clarkson. She is in a room with about 150 other women from all over the country. She "happens" to sit down next to this lady and with the help of her sister she starts a conversation with her. During the course of her conversation she finds out that this lady lives in the same area that I will be moving to. They exchange names and emails and my sweet friend tells her that I will be in contact. The nice lady says she will be happy to share any information she can with me. I later email her a couple of times and she emails me back. Such a sweet, nice lady that is so willing to help me. That is the body of Christ in action. Anyway, I get some information and think I will eventually meet up with her somewhere.

So Sunday morning, after church, I start having a pity party with myself and anyone who will listen... I check my email and that sweet lady emailed me again. She informs me that she was telling her husband about our email conversations and he looks at her and tells her "that is my new boss' wife that you have been talking to!" What???? Do you know how many people live in the area that I am moving to??? Crazy huh??? Really crazy!!!! God has my back! He is in every detail of my life!

I am not sure why I find this story so amazing...I mean He is Alive! He heals... and He saves. I know how much God cares about me... and all my silly worries! He is telling me to "shhhh, my sweet girl...I am going to take care of everything... Don't worry...I am going with you"

"Cast your cares on the LORD
and he will sustain you;
he will never let the righteous fall."

Psalm 55:22 NIV

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?"

Matthew 6:25-27 NIV

Blessings,
Kim
