P52 Week 6 and 7

Happy Good Friday!

I have been a mess with my pictures!

We have a week off of school and that is one of my goals, to get them organized.

Here are two pictures that were taken in February. : )

The first was taken in a train station in Kansas City and the second was at the downtown homeless mission in Los Angeles.

P52 Week 5

We went to a Antique store while in Seattle and I found a huge cabinet of old photos!

It was fantastic and sad at the same time.

Fantastic because instantly I was taken back into time.

Sad because these are pics of families.  Someones family.

I love photos.  

I love my old family photos. I would not want my old photos in an antique store separated from the family.

I wish we could unite them with their owners but alas we can not : (

The one on the left is dated circa 1920's.

I love the clothes.

I bought that one : )

What Am I Reading???

I find it much more difficult to take the time to read in this stage of my life.

I can and will blame it mostly on two things...

One... I get way more distracted... I blame that on hormones : /

And two...

FACEBOOK!!!! 

Which is one huge reason why I get so distracted! LOL!

Back in the day, Before Facebook days, I would spend 30 mins in my bed before I went to sleep, reading.

Now, I spend 30

mins trolling on Facebook.  Ack! I hate it!

So this year, or more specifically in the last month, I have decided to force myself to put my stupid phone down and READ!!!!!

So far, I have read "Go Set a Watchman" by Harper Lee and

I am currently reading "Brooklyn" by Colm Toibin and "Emotional Purity" by Heather Arnel Paulsen. I am reading that book with the young ladies in my disciple group.

I am also listening to "Screwtape Letters" By C.S. Lewis.

I read that book years ago to my boy when I was homeschooling but thought I would listen to it.

It is soooo good, btw!

So there you have it...

True confessions about my life and what I am doing with my time...

P52 Week 4...

Seattle on a Beautiful, slightly raining day....

I have been out of the loop...

January came and went and then February came and went...

I have had some computer problems so it wasn't easy getting my pics uploaded and onto my blog.

In addition, I have a some medical things going on... Long story... but God is so good and mericiful and ALL knowing.

He showed himself Greatly during this season of my life...

I am going to try to show up here more often.  It does bring me some joy and I miss looking at all your lives through photos.
