On Friday we went whale watching for a field trip.  It was foggy, so visibility was poor, but we were able to see some of God's creation.  We saw a momma whale and her baby and followed them for about 6 miles.  We also saw some California sea lions up close and personal.  And as we were heading to shore this seagull was following us way too close.  I am thinking he thought we were a fishing boat and was looking for some scraps.

Blessings,
Kim

  2. AWESOME!!!! One thing I miss about Cali- Sea lions! Kristal and I were just reading a book set in San Fran and they talked of going to see them. So much fun to watch for hours!

  6. Just saw your comment about the traffic and wanted to let you in on a few little tricks I have for avoiding areas. It is worse on the 405 heading to the west side due to all that construction. Sepulveda used to be the fast way to get around it, but now it's worse. One day that will clear and it will be better. But I have learned all kinds of side road routes if you want to email me privately. But no, I can't say that I get used to it. I tolerate it, but it is very draining and feels like such a waste of time. With this new routine between the two schools I'm literally on the road from 8 -10 am every morning because of the distance and the traffic. I listen to Christian radio or praise music and that helps.
