These pictures are taken at Arlington Cemetery.  All the graves of men and women that fought for freedom for our country!  I am very thankful for their service!

The rock on top of the tomb stones is supposed to be a Jewish tradition in lieu of flowers. It is to let whomever comes to grave after know that it has been visited.  I looked it up when I got home.

  3. Beautiful photos! It's been a long time since I visited Arlington Cemetery. I'd like to go back East again someday and visit all the historical sites. I am such a history nut!
