365-331-335 Family Traditions!

This weekend we did our annual Christmas tree hunt. We have done this for years with our fab friends. We go up to the mountains and find the perfect un-perfect tree. It usually involves trudging through snow, and depending on the year, depends how much snow. This will also determine how long we actually look for one. Hence, lots of snow, little time spent. Little snow, long trip looking for the "it" tree. We had to trudge through about 3 feet of snow to come up with our tree this year. So, needless to say, it did not take but about an hour. After getting it home, I am thinking it is a little skinny and looks likes it needs to be fattened up. Anyway, it is about the adventure, right?
Oh, also did our first day of Advent today. It was nice.

  1. Beautiful pictures!!!
I like what you said, "We go up to the mountains and find the perfect un-perfect tree"
Reminds me of JESUS, Perfect HIM, un-perfect me!

  2. I love the first shot! Great pics!

  3. How do you keep it alive so long? We wait till two weeks to be sure it doesn't die.

  4. Wow! What a wonderful tradition! :) Love the first pic with the icicle. :)
