This is one of my favorite scriptures. It ministered to me when I was waiting on the Lord for my youngest two babies. Not that I waited patiently but I waited...
It was a difficult time and the Lord brought us through. If only I could remember this when difficult things happen now. And they do.... sometimes the blog, Facebook and Instagram world can make our lives look perfect. It is not true... Life is not always easy but God is so on the throne and is Just, Loving and Merciful!

Happy Anniversary to My Man!
A picture of a picture of my hubby and I when we were engaged. Circa 1989.
It was a whirlwind romance. We met in May 1989, engaged in July 1989 and married in February 1990.
The bottom line is there is no perfect time frame. At the time, people discouraged us that we were going too fast.. I didn't let it bother me. I saw divorces all over the place. People engaged 4 years and then married and divorced after 2 years of marriage.
What makes our marriage work? Well, first, my husband is the MOST patient man I know. Enough said about that.. lol
But most importantly we have always had Jesus as the center of our marriage. We never talked about divorce because it was never an option. And let me tell you, it was not always easy. Marriage is hard work but it is so worth it.
26 years later and he is still the one...

This Clown....
My girl received this for Christmas from a sweet family member. It has brought us so much joy but not the kind the gift giver intended. It conspicuously shows up in the most untypical places to SCARE the eeebie jeebies out of peeps. As you can see, the neck has been cracked because of an unintentional throw across the room when said person was freaked out about finding it in her their shower.
It has been in closets, bookshelves, bedrooms, showers, the top of the ceiling fans (staring down at you while you sleep) and I am sure it will be many other places. In fact, I need to find a temporary residence for this clown. Hmmmm... who will the next victim be? It has been all of us at one time or another.... : )

Homework by the Fire….
My girl studying hard….
She is loving school but she does have A LOT of homework.
Her cat is very upset by her having all this time outside of the home. He literally sits by the window when she leaves in the morning. He seems to be a bit depressed. He walks around whining and looking at me like "what did you do with her"?
He is happy the most when he sits by her side…
