It has been awhile since I did a 1000 gifts post. I have been writing them down but not blogging them. The reason I do this is to remind myself, in the midst of daily life, how much I am blessed by my Jesus. I never want to forget what He has done for me and is still doing in my life.
I am still counting...
521. Happy to be home and back on track...
522. My dad is improving from his hip surgery...
523. My kids are back on a school schedule..
524. Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel for my Senior boy!
525. Diligence pays off...
526. College acceptance letters : /
527. Great time with friends last week on the beach..
528. Surprising my boy with a clean room : )
529. His best buddy turning 18 and him being able to be there...
530. Life long friends for my boy and for me...
532. That is for my friend Denise...
533. Getting involved at church... not too involved though...
534. Holy Spirit guiding our decisions...
535. My husbands love for his Savior!

Denise and I had a conversation about some of the amazing pictures we see on some of your blogs and we decided it is the lighting. Every picture we love usually has some awesome lighting.
So here is my chance to try...
I was cleaning the house and noticed the great light coming through the window. I got my camera out and shot the first 4 pictures. The last one was done in the evening with indoor lighting. It is a nice pictures but I prefer the top ones.
Have a blessed day...

What a fast week. I seem to not be pulling out my camera as much. I was trying to catch up with school and getting my grades done for the kiddos. One more semester of home schooling for my boy. Yikes! That went fast!
Anyway, today we went to the beach and did a bike ride. Had a wonderful time with some friends. I actually took these pics with my iphone. They came out pretty good.

My pictures are a little lacking this week. I had a crazy week. I am finally home after being gone for 3 weeks. My dad broke his hip and I had to stay and help him out. When we were there, EVERYONE caught the stomach flu. It was not pretty! Anyway, I am home. Starting back to school today but wanted to join in on the P52 post this week.

Wow! What a week! We had an awesome time in the mountains this last week. It went by fast as always. Whenever we are up in the mountains it is always so peaceful and unhurried. I usually have time to reflect on what the Lord is doing and or just sit at His feet. It was a wonderful time with my family and couple of my kids friends from home. They both brought friends from our hometown that they each have known their entire life.
We headed back home through my hometown just in time. My daddy broke his hip and was at the emergency room. I ended up staying longer and my dad had surgery today. He came out just perfect. Now on to rehab. God is so awesome how He put everything together and we "happened" to be driving through the day that he was at the emergency room.
God is so amazing. Worthy to be Praised!

Okay, I may as well do a 365 project. I seem to be posting everyday. I am in the habit of doing pictures everyday.
Today we played in the snow. My hubby had my camera and got the shot of me sledding down the mountain. It cracks me up! It looks like I am zooming down the hill. The other picture is of my girlie girl. It was fun and really, really cold. Hot tea as soon as we got inside.

Well, the internet is working this morning so I thought I would post some pictures of the outdoors. I am getting ready to go ski with the family but these are some pictures I took yesterday on a walk.
It was cold. Ten degrees cold. For a West Coast girl that is COLD!!!
Have a blessed day!

Happy New Year! Oh man, I have been trying all day to post this one picture. I am up in the mountains and the internet service is very slow. So, I will not be able to post all week until we come down. On Monday, I will be posting with a new project called Project 52. I will give the details when I get back down to sea level.
