Summer camp blues....My girlie girl is just fine driving to summer camp. I, was having a cow, quietly! She is my baby!!
Finally there.... and taking a hay ride to her cabin. I could use your prayers this week. Never...ever...has she been away from me other than leaving her with my parents. Which, they are just extensions of me!!! So she is now 2 hours away from me. I wonder what she is doing?
I can so relate! I have both of my kids off at camp this week.
ReplyDeleteOh - I'll pray!
ReplyDeleteShe looks gorgeous. And happy. And I'm sure she wishes the same for you while she is gone!
ReplyDeleteI will be praying. I can only imagine how that must feel. At least she is happy about going. It would be super tough if she was having a hard time too.
ReplyDeleteAwww, I will be praying! I haven't let my girls go to camp yet, but I do remember the first time our son went.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Deborah
AWE! You will survive! :) She's adorable.
ReplyDeleteAwwww... I know it is hard to let our little chicks out from under our wings! She will be fine, as will you - Try to embrace this time alone and remember that this is what we raise our children to do; to be independent!
ReplyDeleteOh, it smarts no doubt, but you will reap the benefits of allowing her to venture out and prove to you what a great job you are doing in raising her to be confident, venturous and happy! She comes from a stable background and that will carry her ♥
