P52 Week 30 Plus 1000 Gifts.....

My hubby and I had a weekend away last weekend.  We went up north.  It was nice to be away for a quick trip.

We were surrounded by beauty for sure.  We had dinner at one of the wineries and it was delicious!  My taste buds were in heaven.  The next day we headed for the coast.  We were at the top of these amazing  cliffs and my hubby thought it would cool to hike down and get a closer look at the seals.  We got up close and personal with one. I got some cool pictures of the beauty until she came a little to close and I got scared!

After, I went back to my home town to spend some time with my dad and see my sweet friends.

P52 Week 29 Plus 1000 Gifts....

These pictures don't really match my list at all.  These are from a few weeks ago when we went up to the mountains.  We have seen this old bus before on trail rides but this was the first time that I have taken pictures of it.  I think this would be a good place to take senior pictures or something important like that.  Maybe when my girlie girl is a senior.  But let's not even go there yet....

I used a vintage look on the last picture... I thought it fit the theme of the picture...

P52 Week 28 Plus 1000 Gifts.....

We are staying busy throughout the summer around our part.
Last week my grandson came to visit and we took him to the beach and then to ride the rides on the pier.  We had a great visit.

We also noticed a birds nest with these beautiful blue eggs on our back porch.  We have been watching them hoping for them to hatch.  The other day, I almost killed myself trying to see the eggs and fell off of a stool.  It was not pretty but thankfully I did not permanently hurt myself.  I was jarred a bit and sore the entire day but no broken bones.  Yay!  This happened first thing in the morning before coffee.  Lesson learned.   Never do ANYTHING before coffee... Actually, I am just kidding, I do run everyday before coffee.

P-52 Week 26 & 27 Plus 1000 Gifts.....

I am not sure what happened to last week.  It was a blur.  Lots of coming and goings and then the grandson came in town.  Then we went on a road trip and got these lovely shots.

We went to our cabin for the 4th of July weekend.  They usually have a huge fireworks display in the town center.  As we sat waiting for the show to start the weather started to get a little pesky.  Not that I mind rain, because I LOVE rain.... (when you live in the desert for 30 years you enjoy the rain). Anyway, the show started early and I started taking the pictures with my tripod.  I had the camera in Manual and the ISO low around 200.  I also had the aperature at F/5.6 and my shutter speed at 8.  As I was taking the picture, God showed us His handiwork at the same time the firework went off!  I was in shock!  The entire sky lit up.  It started to rain so I could only get a few more pictures before I had to put my camera away and get in the back seat of the car because I was COLD!!!
