P 52 Week 18

This week is all about my girl's pictures.....
Really, I don't know what I would do without her.  She is so helpful to me and honestly everyone needs a "go to girl" and that is what I have with her.

Let's be honest... mothering is exhausting, throw in schooling and you can easily be overwhelmed.  I have all these wonderful ideas about how some special times should turn out but I really get overwhelmed and end up doing a mediocre job instead of a superior.  In walks my girlie girl.  I tell her my idea and she goes with it.  Not just a little but does a spectacular job! My boy turned 18 last month.  I had all these ideas but lack of energy to follow through.  I tell my girl and she does them all with a great attitude and a fervor that only the young and energetic have.. : ) She made my boy the candy bouquet, decorated his bedroom with balloons (we saw this idea on Pinterst) and made him breakfast while he was at a science class and I was on a run.  And then we decorated this cute frame for his party of his growing up years... hence the picture of him holding her... SO SWEET!!! I am so thankful for her!  God blessed me so much with her...

The other two pictures are of her kitty and the other is flowers from home school formal.

  1. What a special young lady you have! I'm glad to know that I am not the only one who feels tired. I get tired just thinking about the next two months.

Wonderful photos! I especially love the kitty in the sunlight!

  2. I love the light in the first image! Gorgeous!

  3. So sweet! Love the candy bouquet!

  4. Aren't they so brave and energetic at that age! She sounds like a great help to you.

  5. She ia a good one! Nice shots and great memories.

  6. Wow! What a great girl you have. Love the shot of the cat in the sun. They always find just the right spot. Glad you had someone special around to help you make your son's birthday just right. Sounds perfect!

  7. So sweet of her to do that for her brother! Love the candy - and the cat shoot is sweet!
