A Pretty Park

The day after Thanksgiving we went to a park close to our older son's house.

When my kids were little we would go to this park often.

It really doesn't fit the area.  A little oasis in the desert.

Thanksgiving Time

We had two Thanksgivings this year...

I cooked on Wednesday for a Friendsgiving and then we headed to our home town to be with my parents.

My step mom has been ill lately so she decided it would be fun to put up her trees early.

So we had Thanksgiving with Christmas Tress...

Fun Times With My Brother

My brother is a big kid at heart.

What a treasure he is and has been in our life.

He has taught me so many things...

one being to enjoy life.

He enjoys so many things that we take for granted and  I am soo thankful for him!

December Is Here!

November flew by and I kept telling myself to blog but it never happened....

They are from dress up and one of my sweet grandson's birthday at the end of October.

My sweet grand daughter dressed up as a fairy princess and my husband and grandson were racing on the track at a birthday party for my grandson : )

I told you in the last post that I have been traveling with my husband more since my girlie went off to college.

When I go to Seattle with him, I usually go to Pike's Market and I buy a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

Seattle has some beautiful flowers.

Happy Birthday to my guy today!

Seattle in October

My husband has been flying to Seattle for business for about 5 years!  The job he has been over seeing will be wrapping up in 2018.

Now that girlie girl is off at college, I am able to go with him a lot more.

We have enjoyed the sights and sounds of the fun town.

And we have enjoyed spending the time together....
