My Girlie Girls Room
We finished up with the final details on my girls room and thought I would show the finished project. We are very pleased with the end results. At first, I was really nervous about the brightness of the room. After putting all the stuff back in and adding some new touches, it turned out better than expected.
Blessings,
Kim

I made it...I mean she made it!!!! She had a blast at camp and she is happily home with her mommy (where she belongs)! She arrived home on Saturday and we immediately left to go up to our mountain retreat. It is a lot cooler.... by 40 degrees... and oh so nice! We spent the fourth up in the cool air. We actually had to wear sweat shirts. That is huge for us, because we live in the desert. We had a fun long weekend (with no Internet) and are now home.
Thanks for all your prayers this past week. They were much appreciated and needed.
Btw, she LOVED her room! I will post pics soon on the finished project.

This is what we have been doing without my girlie girl. We are going to surprise her by painting her room. We had planned on doing this job during the summer but I thought it would be fun to have it done for her when she gets home from camp. Which, is tomorrow! Yeah! She picked out the colors before she left (thinking that we would get to it sometime). The colors are a little bright but hey, I have to pick my battles. And this was not something I thought I needed to battle. Major on the major and minor on the minors. So, hopefully we will have it all done before she gets home tomorrow.
The first picture is of her color before. She has informed me that she is not a baby anymore and that her room was too pink for an older girl. The next are the colors that she picked out! I will post some of the finished project.
Blessings,
Kim
