More of our England Trip

On another day we visited Bath, England where we saw a Roman Bath from 60-70AD.  Amazing time and I still can't believe I was there!

The first two pictures are from Windsor Castle.  

It was beautiful grounds and a beautiful day.

We really had great weather.  Just sprinkling most days and usually sunshine at some point during each day.

Oxford University

So I can't remember if this was day 3 or 4 but I do remember the day.

We left Cotswold and headed to Oxford.  We had lunch at the Eagle and the Child.  This is where C.S Lewis and JRR Tolkein would have long conversations about everything but mostly about their writings and about Jesus.  We ate and sat where he ate and sat.  We had conversations with the students about different subjects but mainly about how our life should always point to Christ.

It was so good to listen to young people that are the next generation of believers really comprehend and be able to communicate their affections for the Lord.

While we walked through Oxford, we had to be very quiet because it was exam time for the students.  The students still wear long black robes with hats while doing their exams and they also have a flower in their lapel if they have completed their exams.

BTW- my girlie was not on the grass... she was standing right on the edge of the sidewalk.

Hahaha!

I am still stunned that we were able to go on this trip.  We so enjoyed this and I am so glad I was able to share this with my girl.

England Day 2

On our second packed filled day we headed to Stratford-Upon-Avon and toured Trinity Holy Church (where Shakesphere is buried) and the town he grew up in. We also toured his father's home where he was raised and also the home he owned as an adult.  Along with his gardens in the back...

While in the small, quaint town, we stopped for tea, hot chocolate and yummy scones.

Such a beautiful country... so much green.  And the weather is delightful.

Our Trip To England

I am finally getting around to sharing my pictures from our trip to England in April.

On our first day we journeyed from London to Haworth, England where the Bronte Parsonage is.

We stayed the night in a lovely bed and breakfast and then woke up and walked the moors where novels like "Wuthering Heights" was inspired.  

We also visited the family church, where the father was a pastor and the graveyard.

The countryside was so beautiful.  A light rain sprinkled on us as we walked.

After learning all about the Bronte sister we headed to the small town and had a nice lunch, consisting of soup, tea and yummy bread with real butter.

It was a wonderful day.

It was a trip of a lifetime and I hope to share more of our visits soon : )

Vacation with Family ❤️

We have been on vacation in Hawaii... we have had a very relaxing and enjoyable time.

Life has been crazy busy....

We were so blessed to be able to go to England and Ireland in April and we pretty much have not come up for air since....

England.

Ireland.

Softball.

Playoffs.

End of Year Awards Ceremony for Softball.

Haiti Fundraiser Tea.

Awana Citation Award Ceremony.

Growth Group End of Year Celebration.

Senior Week at her school.

And Finally, 

Graduation.

Which means company and party prep for this momma : )

The week since graduation we have had a grad party every night for other kids we know and today she has Grad Night at Disneyland.

I am a driver : )

So, I did not have a chance to try to blog but I do see light at the end of this very busy season in my life.

I keep telling myself, I am going to be bored next year...
