Honestly, I don't know where the time has gone. I remember when my boy was a baby and my step mom would say to me "time goes fast, enjoy every moment". The long nights, the baby throwing up (he was colic), I did not think those times would end. Now they are a distant memory. My boy is my answered prayer... I know most every child is an answered prayer, but he really is. You see, I had fertility problems and we prayed for this child for 5 years. At times, I thought, I was not going to be a mommy. Every now and then I remember that when he calls me and I hear my name. Mommy... or now it is mom...every now and then when he is tired it slips and Mommy comes out. I never correct him because I know all too well how fast time goes. He will soon no longer call me that. I have been the most blessed mom ever to get a chance to parent my boy. I marvel that God chose me to be his mommy.
Thank you Jesus for not forgetting me!
