My girl called me outside to do a photo shoot.  It was a bit overcast and a little rainy on and off.  We pulled out our cameras and starting shooting the neighborhood.  She was in her pajama bottoms and would run and hide every time a care would drive by.  We were cracking up.
I think I got a few good shots.  The lighting was perfect.

365-83 & 84

My prayer "reminder" bracelet.

Nothing special... just something to remind me to pray for our up and coming short term Mexico mission.
My girlie girl and I are going.  I am excited to see what the Lord does in her life as well as mine.  I have been to Mexico a few times but never with my girl.  Except on our cruise last year and that does not count.  We went to a resort area then.  So different than where we are going this time.
We will be building houses, sharing the Gospel and visiting an orphanage.  At the orphanage, some of us will help with the children.  I can't wait for that.
If you can remember, we would covet your prayers.
We leave in 2 weeks from last Sunday.

Blessings,
Kim

Sweet Friends for Life!

My dear friend's daughter is one of my girlie's besties.  She turned "Sweet 16" last week.
These two met when my girl was 4 and have been close every since.  We have shared many memories with her and her family.

We headed to her house for the weekend to help celebrate.
What a fun celebration her mommy put on for her.

What a sweet young lady she has turned out to be.  She is not only beautiful on the outside but totally loves Jesus and it is evident.  I am so thankful that my girl has sweet friends like her that I know will be around forever.  Praising Jesus for her and her momma.

Blessings,
Kim

I am still here....
I just don't know what happens to my time.
I have been taking pictures but I am just now getting to downloading them and putting them up on my blog.
So here they are...

The first four are from my back yard.  Some days it is all I can do.  The next four are from a trip to LA Museum of something... hahahahahaha... no it is modern art and it was for our last Art History field trip.  It was interesting is all I can say.... interesting.  Some more than others.  Anyway, the lamp post is a form art.  It was funny because my boy is home for Spring break and he tagged along with us.  He kept looking at the stuff and shaking his head.  The entire time the docent was asking the kids questions like "what are your thoughts" and "how does this make you feel?" My boy and I are trying to be respectful but just kept looking at each other and whispering "you don't really want to know how we feel".  Anyway, we had fun.  Some of the stuff was very interesting... : /
So glad the boy is home for a short time.

Happy Spring!
Blessings,
Kim

Another week has gone by and I truly don't know where it went....
It rained this week and I LOVE it!  Too many years in the dry desert not to appreciate rain when we get it.  Our state has been in a drought so it is much needed.  The first picture is our backyard pool with the rain drops pounding down. The last three were taken by my girl.  She is taking a photography class at the Christian college nearby.  Which, I wish was the one my boy was going to.  But, he is not and I miss him.  He has not come home as much this semester so I think it is time to head down south for a bit.

I am still counting my blessings...

731.  My faithful doggy.  I just love her and am so blessed to have her...
732. The RAIN!
733. A sweet couple in church that we were blessed to see...
734. Time with the teen group at church and our homeschool group....
735. My girl's growth in responsibility...
736. Seeing God's beauty through the lens...
737. My girl winning 2nd place in an art contest...

Blessings,
Kim
